This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette is a red over red coupe that was refurbished under prior ownership with work that included refinishing the body and reupholstering the interior in addition to overhauling the 327ci V8 and four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 15″ turbine-style bolt-on wheels, a big-block-style stinger hood, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, and an aftermarket stereo. This C2 was acquired by its current owner in 2018 and is now offered on dealer consignment with a tank sticker, an owner’s manual, NCRS documentation, service records, historical ownership documentation, spare parts, its removed hood, and a clean California title.
The fiberglass body has been refinished in Rally Red with a white stinger, and further refurbishment work has included fitting a big-block-style stinger hood, chrome-plating the bumperettes, repairing the right-front fender, applying satin paint to the door jambs, and replacing the weatherstripping, door felts, and body emblems. The car features a curved glass rear window, a domed hood, retractable headlights, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and a side-exit exhaust system with heat shields.

The turbine-style 15″ bolt-on wheels are mounted with Firestone redline tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The springs were replaced in 2017, and an alignment was performed at that time.

The cabin features two bucket seats that have been reupholstered in red vinyl, and the color-coordinating carpet, dash pads, door panels, and headliner have also been replaced. Amenities include a heater, an aftermarket stereo, an quartz clock, and lap belts.

The three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 750 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 327ci L79 V8 is equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. The engine was reportedly overhauled under prior ownership, and a Holley carburetor has been fitted. The fuel hoses were replaced in September 2020.

The engine stamping is shown above. The HT suffix corresponds with a 350-horsepower, 327ci L79 V8 for use with a manual transmission.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, which is said to have been rebuilt under previous ownership, and a Positraction rear end with a 4.11:1 gear ratio.
