This 1973.5 Porsche 911T Targa was acquired by the seller in 2004 and was modified in 2019 with a 3.2-liter flat-six equipped with electronic fuel injection with PMO individual throttle bodies, a MoTeC ECU, and Webcam camshafts. A limited-slip differential was also installed, and the car rides on 15×7″ Fuchs wheels with Turbo tie rods, Elephant Racing bushings, and 911S aluminum brake calipers. It is finished in Signal Yellow over black and Pepita houndstooth fabric upholstery, and additional equipment includes a 915 five-speed manual transaxle, a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, driving lights, a 911S-style front spoiler, front sport seats, rear seats, a Continental stereo with Bluetooth, and Euro-spec lighting. This 911T Targa is now offered with the owner’s manual, a tool kit, and a Washington title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Signal Yellow (114) and was repainted approximately two decades ago. The seller states that the removable Targa roof panel was rebuilt and the body seals replaced. A 911S-style front spoiler, Cibie driving lights with yellow lenses, and European-specification taillights and headlights have been added.
The 15×7″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with 195/65 Vredestein Sportrac 5 tires. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners and features aluminum 911S calipers, which are said to have been rebuilt under current ownership. The seller tells us that the brake rotors and pads have also been replaced, while the steering rack was rebuilt. Turbo tie rods, Elephant Racing suspension bushings, and replacement Bilstein shocks were also installed.
The aftermarket front sport seats are upholstered in black with Pepita houndstooth fabric inserts, and replacement carpets line the floors, sills, and front trunk. A Continental stereo with Bluetooth and aftermarket rear speakers have been added. Cracks in the dashboard are shown in the gallery.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped RS-style steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 28k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2L flat-six was reportedly sourced from a 1986 911 Carrera and installed in 2019. The engine features electronic fuel injection with PMO individual throttle bodies and MoTeC M84 management, along with Webcam camshafts, SSI heat exchangers, and a Dansk muffler.
The 915 five-speed manual transaxle is said to have been rebuilt and fitted with a Wavetrac limited-slip differential under current ownership.
