Anyma’s revolutionary Vegas Sphere residency is far from over.
After an eight-show engagement at the groundbreaking venue, which included a breathtaking New Year’s Eve concert, the superstar Italian DJ is extending his residency. He will return February 27-28 and March 1-2 for what will be the final run of shows, according to a press release shared with EDM.com.
Organizers will donate $5 per ticket sold to the SoCal Fire Fund and California Fire Foundation to assist with relief efforts amid the catastrophic LA wildfire crisis. The ongoing blazes have claimed 28 lives and scorched over 50,000 acres, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
Billed as “Afterlife Presents Anyma ‘The End of Genesys,'” the historic event series established Anyma as the first electronic artist to headline the record-breaking Sphere, which contains the world’s largest wraparound LED screen. The $2.3 billion venue, a technological marvel that has redefined concert architecture, served as the perfect canvas for his intricate digital artistry.
The show is centered on Anyma’s android, Eva, who symbolizes the merging of humanity and technology. Its storyline follows her journey through creation and self-awareness, exploring themes of evolution, connection and the pursuit of higher consciousness. Meanwhile, the Sphere’s 16K LED canvas envelops the audience in surreal, hyperrealistic visuals, like forests pulsating with bioluminescent veins and humanoid figures writhing in unison to the music.
Fans can now sign up for a pre-sale ahead of its launch Wednesday, January 29th at 9am PT. The general on-sale is scheduled to begin the following day at the same time.
