Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms have a co-headlining tour coming up (get tickets here), and to celebrate the occasion, the groups joined forces on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for a joint performance.
Each group performed their signature song: Blues Traveler brought “Run Around,” while Gin Blossoms played “Hey Jealousy.” They both played these tracks at the same time, with the bands combining and oscillating between the two songs for each verse and chorus; it’s a fitting combination, given that both songs are around the same tempo and they both were hits in the mid ’90s. And as you’d expect, Blues Traveler frontman John Popper provides a ripping harmonica solo. Watch their joint performance below.

Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms will kick off their co-headlining tour together on July 4th at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. The tour runs through the US until the final date in Atlanta on September 13th; fellow ’90s rockers Spin Doctors will also be joining for select dates of the tour.
