KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along Screenings Set for Theaters

Do you and/or your kids have the soundtrack for KPop Demon Hunters memorized? It’s time to prove it. Netflix has announced that the wildly popular animated movie (set to potentially kick off an entire franchise) will be hitting theaters in North America for special sing-along screenings on August 23rd and 24th.

KPop Demon Hunters has spent the past seven weeks in the top 10 of Netflix’s charts, as fans watch and rewatch the story of a girl group that slays on stage as musical artists and behind the scenes as demon hunters. (Hence, the title.) Additionally, lead single “Golden” has become a number one hit on the Billboard 200.

Not only will the special screenings give audiences a new way to watch the movie, but it’ll help push the movie forward as an Original Song and Animated Feature contender for the upcoming 2026 Academy Awards. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 13th at 6:00 a.m. PDT / 9:00 a.m. EDT — and buy early, because they might be as hard to get as the next BTS tour.
